Poems: 01

You know what?  I always write classic poems.. Today I will write a Haiku.  Because I can.

Also I'm not gonna do NaPoWriMo every day.. Because i have a lot going on this month and Camp Nano... Ugh..

Here is the Haiku

Tiny Lilly Pads

Floating on the Water

Gently blown by breezes

But you know... Haiku is short... so I lengthened the poem.  There is the Haiku.  Here is the classic!

Tiny Lilly Pads

Floating on the Water

Gently blown by breezes

Which never ever falter

They lean and sway but stay afloat

For the water is their boat

And as the lillies move and sway

they cause ripples to move away

Water creatures make their way down

From Oceans deep

lakes and streams,

and listen for a sound...

They think the lillies make a song

and wish to listen all day long

but the lillies make no sound

no sound, they say, is to be found

But even if they do not sing

or do not look important

All things were made to be beautiful

and each one has a purpose.
