Stars Align Parts 1-4

Stars Align.

A blog story by ShuffleCat

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If there was one person that could tell if you were to die in moments or in  millenniums it would be a
starkeeper. They could read minds, read stars, tell when someone was about to die, and even could
tell the breaking point of the entire universe. Only problem was these all powerful starkeepers only
rose once about every ten millon years. But this story isn't about that. Well, it is but you know, you
can't reveal that. Here is where our tale begins:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

My phone has been ringing on and off for hours! Some Unknown number, and my parents telling me to hit the books.  School starts next week and I've already got tons of work. Who am I exactly? Well an introduction would be nice indeed.

I'm Clara. Clara Delanie. Blonde Hair, Brown tips, a bit brown in the back as well. Green eyes. Not Nerdy, not popular. I'm in between.

"Clara, finish studying, have dinner, wash the dishes, and then and only then I will allow you to use your phone!"

That was my Mom. She is crazy about me staying in with a safe distance with my technology.

"Ok Mom!" I yelled back.

That's when I got the text. Unknown number. And a very mysterious message....

You're in danger. Don't do it.

? What the heck was that? A warning?

No time to think about it now, my mom is storming up to take away my precious phone.

I break out a book and throw my phone onto my pillow. I realize I grabbed a book titled," The Prophecy." It's a fantasy book, I don't think my mom would want me reading this. But it's too late to do something else, I crack the book open and start reading..........

"The Prophecy, by Elara Reepkrats"

-----------------------PART 2---------------------

I opened the book and began reading. It's a strange book. A child couldn't handle it but an adult would find it funny. It's in between an educational book and a fantasy. By the time I had started reading, my Mom Burst into the room.

"Clara, are you reading? Oh good. You see I don't like to take your phone away but sometimes you give me no choice."

Oh really, now she doesn't like taking it away

Anyway, I continued reading the story, as it did get interesting.
The faded yellow pages seemed to go along with its ancient tale..

"Once and now there is a prophecy. That a young girl of fifteen will find her way into her heritage, her life, and her story. This prophecy was lost in time, as its previous records were in a language very few who can ever live will understand."

"So listen well my children. You are about to here the prophecy of the Starkeepers."

"It all began about 100 million years ago.. But that is not where our prophecy is coming from. I will enlighten a little on the beginning a little later, but for now here is our prophecy's beginning..."

"It all started about 50 million years before me.. There was a king. Now this King was powerful, and ruled most of our planet as we know it. But he had so many faults.. To others they could clearly see it, to him he could not. He was conceited, vain, arrogant, and had been spoilt all his life. His iron grip was a dictatorship. The people did what he said, and if they didn't.. It didn't end well." "This King, he had no talents as I said. Therefore, with all the money he had, and all the money his kingship earned him, he hired the best of the best for everything." "One day, a mysterious cloaked figure began its decent down the great road to the palace. It's hair was a black-purple, as the starry night, its eyes a green. It was accompanied by another. With the same eyes, but more of a blueish tone of hair. They rode down the path, the rain to their backs. The king wondered who these visitors were, and if they meant goodwill or not." "He invited them in and listened to them."

"We are starkeepers" said the first, the female. "What are starkeepers?" Asked the king mockingly. "People who can tell exactly when your demise is, or if it will come sooner or not." Said the second, the male. "Who are you to defy to me?" Asked the king. "Who are you to test my authority over your every move, or the words that spill out of your dirty mouths." The female girl removed her cloak. Her emerald eyes bored into him. "No. You speak to us."

The king looked in shock. They darted to defy him? He was the ruler of all, the king of the kings! How dare they have a say against him. "You. Dare defy me? I feel like I'm angry now.." "In fact, now that you have defied me, you have worsened your chances to even speak to me.  Your horridness and defyment have earned yourselves a duel to your deaths! The duel will begin at dusk."

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

Strange because it wasn't my mom, or my dad.

Then I heard my mom calling from down stairs.

"Clara! This boy from your history class has a project with you so I let him into your room!"

Then I looked up, into the eyes of Shaun Heron.
The most handsome, most popular, and probably the smartest boy in school.

"Hey Clara" he said.
"IM WATCHING YOU!" Yelled my Dad.
Shaun's face held the expression of someone that is about to be eaten by a lion.
And he probably would be killed if my Dad did get his hands on him..

"Well.. I guess I have a history project.." I said
"Yea..." Shaun said.
"I think you will like it though, it's the history of magic."

-----------------------------PART 3--------------------------------

What?!

History of magic? Magic isn't even a thing!

It wasn't and I was gonna tell him that.

"Shaun. MAGIC ISNT EVEN A THING!"
"Since forever! When did you stop believing?"
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!"

"Oh gosh, you too! Why is everyone being cursed like this?"

I just looked at him in shock. Cursed? Magic? What was this, we live in a normal modern world with all the hardships you try to avoid. There is school, work, poverty, politics, judgmental stuff, mean girls, jerk boys, and.. Miracles.. BUT NO MAGIC

What was he thinking?

Wait, he called me cursed..

......

"AND WHY ARE YOU GOING AROUND CALLING PEOPLE CURSED!!!???"

Shaun looked taken aback.

"W-what! That's not what I!"

"Shaun. Just leave."

And I pushed him out and shut the door.

Huh..
I don't really know why I shut him out. Maybe because I didn't want to put up with his blabber. Maybe because I wanted to read my story more. Maybe because.. Well.. I don't know....

For now.. I'm just gonna sleep.......

...........…………............................................…….................…………...............................…………....

Colors start to swirl before my vision. The blackness is a broken with an image. I see images. When I
come closer to them, they fade out of my vision. When I draw back, I can see them, but they are
blurry. I'm In a dream. I can't really control where my dreams take me, I can only control what
happens once my mind leads me into the void.  This dream seems different though.. For one, I don't
feel much control at all! Without thinking, I go into dream mode, and image the full moon in front of
me. It doesn't work, there is no moon.

I punch myself in the arm, and feel pain. No.. This can't be. I have to be in a dream, I have to! I'm just  imagining pain.. There is no pain! No, none at all!

I keep telling myself that.. When really.. This dream was very much real.......

The world around me came into focus.. I saw a pattern out of the entire universe.. All the stars all the
planets, layed out before me. I saw where I was, where everyone else was, at the touch of my so

called real finger.

I looked out to the plain of darkness, and out before me swept a type of transportation, a road that
moves you. I walked onto it, and it carried me out of the starry room, and into a room with pillars,
pedestals, what ever you want to call them. On them stood.. People? They couldn't be, but it looked
so alive..? The first one I saw was a women with dark purple black hair, and green eyes. She held a

musical instrument of some sort. The next pillar I saw was of a tall women with red-brown hair,
whose emerald green eyes pierced my soul. She held a book in her hands.

The next one was of a boy, a few years older than me, with dark brown hair, and black eyes. He only
Gazed in my direction, but I couldn't help but blush at his stare.

The next was a boy, exactly my age, who looked.. Like Shaun? No, it couldn't be..

The next was a female.. Very young looking with every changing hair and grey eyes...

Then the track took me into another room, where these same people were chanting.. Some language!

didn't understand it, but at the same time I did! They were saying my name!! I started to call out to
them..!

Then I jolted awake. And in front of me was that boy, the one with the black eyes.

---------------PART 4--------------

Stars Align Part 4!

I didn't know what was going on around me, and in fact It apparently didn't matter to me. All I could do was stare.

I was lost in their black depths. Those eyes, so unnatural, so cold, but warming at the same time.  I couldn't look away.

Luckily I wasn't the one that was forced to look away.

He broke the stare.

"I-uh.." he stutterd, and cleared his throat.
Then he layed it on me.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WANDERING ALONE AT NIGHT!? DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!?

By this time, I. was. done. and I mean DONE. with people yelling at me..
For a momet, I stared Angrily back. Then, i released an onslaught of words of my own::

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU WITH ME?! I DONT KNOW WHO I AM BESIDES BORIN OLE CLARA DELANIE! AND I DONT KNOW WHERE I AM AND IM REALLY TIRED OF PEOPLE YELLING AT ME!"

"Wow, big voice in a small package, huh?" he said.

"Yea. and this midget does not care how loud her voice can get." I replied.

"Im assuming you want answers?"

"Yes please, lets start with Where am I?"

"You're in the middle of an alleyway on Rost-One street.  I was sent here to find you.  I cant tell you who you are. I cant tell you who I am." he said.

"One more question.." I asked.

"Why was I sleepwalking?"

"Sleepwalking, Huh? That's one way to put it.." he replied, almost sadly...

I hardly knew this boy, but I felt so comfortable around him..
It was as if I knew him forever...

I couldn't believe it.
Was i actually crushing on someone? I mean i thought Shaun was cute and all, BUT EVERYONE THINKS THAT!

Am i falling for a complete tall dark and handsome stranger?
I dont know...

Apparently I had not gotten up off the ground since I woke up.

I stood now, and almost fell over again..

He leaned over me, his brown hair hanging over his dark eyes. He held out his hand, and I took it.

I felt a rushing sensation as my hands touched his. I couldn't get over it, it was magical.

He pulled me up, and helped me walk.

"Its going to get some getting used to after having vision dreams" he said.

I didn't question anything, I just wanted to enjoy this time i had, right here. With Xentor.

Wait, Xentor? Is that his name? I never asked, but now i have the feeling that is his name..

We came upon my house, and he walked me behind it. What did he want.
"You have to enter through the window. Dont Ask me why, just do it."

"Before you go, Xentor, can you tell me how old you are?"
"Kind of a weird request, don't you think Clara?" he smirked.

Wow. Even his smirk was magic.

"If you must know, Im 19."

He was a few years older than I, me being 17 and all, but i liked that about him.

As i was about to go up, I got lost in his gaze again.

He pulled me close, His Face a foot from mine. His head turned mesmirizingly, and my eyes began to close.  I held on tighter. His face is now only inches from mine. I felt rushes of sensation and magic..

Then he let me go.

"I-I, really should be going now.." He said.

"I-i guess so.." I stuttered.
"Goodbye Xentor"
"Goodbye Clara."

And I climbed into my room, and closed the window.

And I began to think,

Was I in Love?
